Look at Lucas! In the POP-UP CRANACH exhibition, children can discover the great artists Lucas Cranach the Elder and his son, Lucas Cranach the Younger, in a completely new way. The old masters become magicians eager to share their secrets about art, technique and world history with children. In a playful and fun way, young visitors can turn into real art detectives and solve the mysteries contained in the rich cosmos of images created by the Cranach family – only a few steps away from the original works themselves … POP-UP CRANACH is Cranach brought to life, *from 26 June to 3 November 2015 * in the Augusteum/Lutherhaus Wittenberg (as part of the exhibition “Lucas Cranach the Younger – Discovery of a Master”.
POP-UP CRANACH is a project by Alice – Museum for Children at the FEZ Berlin and the Luther Memorials Foundation of Saxony Anhalt in cooperation with the National Museums in Berlin.
